My New Backyard

When Emily came to visit me a few weeks ago, she brought me a big gift...a play yard that she and Graham used to play on...Mommy was unsure how I would do, but I have definitely learned to love it...

At the Playground

Last Sunday I got to go to the playground and play because it was so beautiful outside. When we got there we found two of my best buddies...Cole and Bailey!

We had so much fun in the park until I fell and bumped my head on the steps. Oh well, I will eventually learn to walk down steps.

Look who came to visit

So Labor Day weekend was exciting because Mommy and Daddy were running their race, but it was also exciting because we had a few house guests! Maw Maw, Paw Paw and Emily all came to visit me!! We had such a fun weekend going out to dinner and playing on the beach! Emily wanted to hold me the whole time she was here! No matter where we went she always asked if she could carry me or if I could sit next to her at dinner! I loved having her at my house all weekend!

She helped me color and draw pictures...

We had a great weekend...We can't wait to go and visit them in NC for the fair in a few weeks!

Today is Labor Day and I have a big announcement to make...

MY MOMMY AND DADDY FINISHED THEIR FIRST EVER HALF-MARATHON!!!

Way to go Mommy and Daddy...I am so proud of you guys!

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!!!

Most of you know that tomorrow my Mommy and Daddy are taking on a very BIG challenge! They are running in the Virginia Beach Rock and Roll Half Marathon. That is 13.1 miles...what are they thinking? They have been practicing for a couple of months now and hopefully they will make it through all 13.1 miles. Good Luck Mommy and Daddy! I know you can do it!

15 month checkup

Tuesday we had our 15 month checkup and boy have I grown in the past 3 months! At my last appointment in June, I weighed in at 21 pounds. Today when they put me on the scale, I weighed in at....are you ready for this...21 lbs 7 oz. This extra pound took me from the 10% in weight to the 25%. Then if you think that is impressive just wait for this...i went from 30 1/2 inches to 32 inches tall! I am now in the 75% for height! Dr. Karp was very pleased with my progress...the biggest gain my whole life!

Unfortunately I had to have a lot of shots at this checkup! My flu shot, and the two others that were due this go round! I did not like all those needles! One in each leg and one in my arm...OUCH!!! I cried until the nurse left the room and then I was fine!

I am remembering what happens when I go in there now...and we have to go back in December! I wonder how much I will weigh then??
